How do you eat a elephant, one bite at a time

I remember saying I can't do this why me Jesus? My lack of employment, support, energy, Faith, prayer, and love for God and myself. I wanted to Quit everything and just float along in life and just hope something great would happen. Life just don't work like that, oh yeah you might bump into something,  but if your not prepared for it you lose it anyway. One day when I felt like I just can't do know more. I heard someone say life is not given to have it all at one time. How do you eat a elephant,  the same way you build your life one bite at a time. Pray one more prayer, have faith one more time, spend one more hour seeking a job, wisdom, and being of service to someone else in need, loving your family.  One more Step,  don't give up before the miracle happens.
