Humility and pride

I have been given the heart or gifts of encoragement, comfort, teaching, giving, and now recieving. I was feeling a kind of pride that tells you,  if you did something for someone then they should appreciate all you have done and in some way show you they do. Most people do at the time of the act of kindness. Some don't or criticize, how or what you gave or did for them. It's crazy but this kind of pride will cost you and them the blessing God has set up for us to recieve. 1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, That he may exalt you in due time. Hallelujah!!! I dare not to think I'm better than anyone else and or better off. God has blessed us all to have the great and presious promises by the life death and life of his son Jesus Christ. Enough about me I asked forgiveness and moved on with a fresh heart and mind that's what real men do, use the gifts God gave you on yourself and if the gifts are used correctly you get your blessing.
