I don't do this for my health.

That's what my father use to tell us (I'm not working, feeding, dressing, and puting a roof over your head for my health). Then what other reason?because we are his children, Good bad and the ugliness of the whole matter. Now as a father I understand the trials and tribulations that go into being a good father or Just a decent Dad. My heart breaks when I see children going through something that they had nothing to do with. And the parents say thats life you better get use to it. Not all so true we do have some control example if I don't get caught doing something I know will get me locked up,  then I can work and be around my children. Nobody made me committ a crime I made that decision. Make a new decision stay out of jail, stay employed, stay with your children.
