I'm Bored

So many days have I heard my children say these words ( I'm bored). I would tell them to go play outside, cleanup your room or the house,  read the bible, ect.. Psalms 118:24 this is the day...let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Sometimes we need to let our children learn how to explore the day that God has made. Everyday is not for what we think it should be. We know from experience that we can explore and find amazing things to do if we use our imagination and inner creativity.  Let them be bored but also let them know and see how if they just think in positive creative ways boredom becomes a adventure and a joyful time.  As a father I don't have a reason to be bored because I spend most of my time serving family and others,  yeah it's down times but that just helps me to see how Jesus want me to recharge in him for more service. Teach them that adventure is not always fun but it's a gift from God to teach and prepare us for more. Say goodbye to boredom
